Ruislip Running Club member, Sarb, has been running consistent half marathons during the first thirty days of July attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Record for the most half marathons ran in 30 days. The previous record was 20 which Sarb has comfortably done, subject to approval by Guinness.
From a couple of days before the end. “Well done Sarb, another half marathon completed on your odyssey. Number 38 this morning in your 30 days of running for the Guinness Book of World Records. I ran with Sarb on Sunday – he keeps a sensible consistent pace but I felt it later – Sarb really has stamina. Lovely to see so many other runners inspired by the long runs joining Sarb. Not many days to go now!”
